Klose & Soan Catering is based in Deptford, South East London, and caters for weddings, private celebrations, events and workplace gatherings across London and the South East.
Founded by Matt Klose and Sam Soan, Klose & Soan grew from a shared love of seasonal food, thoughtful wine and bringing people around a table. Today, Matt leads the business with a close-knit team of chefs, event managers and collaborators who have worked together for years. Our restaurant roots shape the way we cook and how we look after people.
We let good ingredients lead. Our cooking is seasonal and unfussy, with the generous spirit of Mediterranean hospitality running through it. We want guests to feel welcome, whether they’re sitting down to a wedding feast, sharing food at home or gathering at one of our affiliated London venues.
We create abundant feasts, sharing menus, canapés and bowl food, and shape the food and service around each occasion. From planning through to the day itself, we work closely with our clients and bring the same care to an intimate gathering as we do to a large celebration.
Seasonality and sustainability guide our choices. We source locally wherever possible, work with small producers and independent creatives, and pay every member of our team at least the London Living Wage.
