Valentine's Day with Klose & Soan

Rooted in folklore, Valentine’s Day has long been seen as a turning point in the year, when birds come together to choose their mates and the days begin to soften toward spring. This year, we invite you to celebrate this marker with a relaxed evening of seasonal dining, to be shared with the one — or ones — you love; a moment of warmth, connection and small rituals of care.

We begin with a canapé of confit shallot, crème fraîche and tapenade croûte. You can then choose to indulge in a few Maldon oysters with fresh horseradish, if you so wish,  before starting with either sea bass crudo with blood orange, fennel and brown crab mayonnaise, or fried Jerusalem artichoke with pickled walnut, frisée and truffle.

For the main course, roast venison with caramelised celeriac purée, pickled pear, tardivo and hazelnuts, or confit cep and wild mushroom fazoletti with parmesan and thyme crumb.

And then, a choice of Mons cheeses is available before finishing with dessert of forced rhubarb Eton mess.

Expect a wine list curated with the same passion and care, bringing together some familiar favourites alongside new seasonal pours, selected especially for the evening from our favourite London suppliers: Wines Under The Bonnet, Passione Vino and Theatre of Wine.

Low lights, good vibes, delicious plates and great natural wines. A night of intention, made to be savoured.
